Description

Are you a network whiz with a passion for keeping things connected and secure?

We're looking for a talented Network Administrator to join our client's team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our entire network infrastructure! You'll be responsible for planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network devices and ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

  • Assist with network design projects and implement network upgrades.

  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Ensure network connectivity for all devices and users within the organization.

Network Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to optimize network performance and stability.

  • Implement network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS).

User Support and Administration:

  • Manage user accounts and network access permissions.

  • Provide technical support to users for network connectivity problems.

  • Document network configurations and procedures.

Security and Compliance:

  • Stay up to date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard the network from cyberattacks.

  • Assist with security audits and compliance initiatives.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a network administrator role.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network security concepts.

  • Experience with network administration tools and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
