Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a prestigious Fortune 500 company as a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain operations by coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule pickups, deliveries, and transfers.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and logistics activities.
Assist in optimizing transportation routes and methods to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or delays.
Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in managing relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and rates.
Support the logistics team in handling administrative tasks and process documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
