Overview
THE ROLE:
The Quality Assurance Inspector I ensures that Herbalife product specifications are met by all manufacturers for finished goods received at the distribution center. The Quality Assurance Inspector I will be responsible for the receipt, documentation and proper storage of reserve samples.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
Perform acceptable quality level inspection on products received at the Distribution Center
Ensure that the physical inspection of product received is in conformance with Herbalife specifications
Perform review of certificate of analysis to ensure that all test results of product is in conformance with Herbalife specifications.
Create non-conformance reports for products that do not meet Herbalife specifications
Coordinate process to ensure that any non-conforming product is quarantined.
Collect and document reserve samples of each product lot.
Perform line clearance inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection of finished product that is being or has been reworked.
Document inspections on appropriate forms and in the Inspection Log in Product Lifecycle Management Agile software.

Skills:
Is a team player and able to communicate with all levels, up through executive management
Able to organize workload for efficient execution
Has strong customer service skills
Possesses high level of perception and attention to details
Familiar with Microsoft Office and has basic typing skills
Has basic math and use of calculator skills
Experience:
- Work experience in similar or regulated industry, such as dietary supplement, food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous inspection experience
2 years' experience in dietary supplement, food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices
Forklift certification
