Robert Half In-House Counsel in Memphis, Tennessee
Description
Robert Half is assisting a corporation in the search of an in-house counsel. This position will support litigation and compliance functions within the company.
Daily Responsibilities:
Ensure and support corporate compliance activities
Manage active litigation
Maintain company communications with courts, vendors, outside counsel, and consumers
Negotiate with opposing counsel, conduct discovery and respond to discovery
Advise on compliance matters
Perform other duties, as assigned
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Precise attention to detail
Must hold an active bar license
Ideally will have experience in debt collection and/or litigation
Preferred 1-3 years of experience in-house, or law firm
