Robert Half Hardware Technician in Memphis, Tennessee

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workstation Setup:

  • Install and configure hardware components, including desktops, monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals.

  • Install and configure software applications and operating systems.

  • Ensure all workstations are connected to the network and can access necessary resources.

  • Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

  • Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.

  • Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

  • Network Connectivity:

  • Ensure all workstations are properly connected to the network.

  • Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with IT staff to address any network-related issues.

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and issues.

  • Document any changes made to the system configurations.

  • Compliance and Security:

  • Adhere to healthcare IT standards and compliance regulations.

  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive healthcare data.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of PC hardware, software, and operating systems.

  • Strong interest in IT and eagerness to learn.

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a temporary contract position for a duration of 1 month.

  • May require lifting and moving computer equipment.

  • The role may involve working in various healthcare settings.
