Description
Key Responsibilities:
Workstation Setup:
Install and configure hardware components, including desktops, monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals.
Install and configure software applications and operating systems.
Ensure all workstations are connected to the network and can access necessary resources.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
Provide technical support to end-users as needed.
Network Connectivity:
Ensure all workstations are properly connected to the network.
Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with IT staff to address any network-related issues.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and issues.
Document any changes made to the system configurations.
Compliance and Security:
Adhere to healthcare IT standards and compliance regulations.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive healthcare data.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of PC hardware, software, and operating systems.
Strong interest in IT and eagerness to learn.
Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus but not required.
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary contract position for a duration of 1 month.
May require lifting and moving computer equipment.
The role may involve working in various healthcare settings.
