First Horizon Bank Bank Operations Processor - Lockbox in Memphis, Tennessee
Description
Location: Memphis,TN
As a Lockbox Ops Processor, you will operate a variety of equipment such as the Intelliscan XDS, OPEX Falcon and other High Speed Machines. Through the utilization of this equipment, you will presort, open, and extract incoming check remittance payments as well as perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment. After opening and sorting the mail, you will prepare the work to be distributed for processing. You may also be involved in other aspects of the processing to include, data entry. Working in this high speed environment, you will need to meet production and quality standards, so accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
Operating Imaging/Extraction Equipment (OPEX machines including MPS 30,50,51,150, Falcon scanners, etc)
Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes
Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing
Verifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processing
Balancing/reconciling electronic and paper documentation
Demonstrating proficiency in all complexities, processing modes and department equipment
Maintaining site productivity and quality standards
Contributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilities
Ensuring that all customer and bank guidelines are followed as related to operations, internal audit and security, and general practices
Remittance Processing or banking operations experience preferred
Ability to analyze and comprehend client’s standard operating procedures and instructions
Intermediate computer skills.
Intermediate Qwerty keyboard usage and basic 10-key data entry
Production environment with focus around meeting deadlines and quotas
Attention to detail with accuracy and good eye-hand coordination
Ability to lift up to 15-20 pounds

Ability to pay attention to detail
Must be able to work mandatory overtime as required
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
Flexibility and willingness to learn and be utilized in all areas of operation
Open minded with a positive attitude
Work Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday night
Sunday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Monday through Thursday 7:30 PM – 3:30 AM (or until daily work is completed)
Some Overtime is a requirement
