Description

We are seeking a VP/Director of Finance to join our team located in Melville , New York. This role will involve the management of financial planning, budget processes, and capital management within our organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze cash flow, utilize accounting software systems, and conduct audits to ensure financial efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial operations within the company

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management

• Conduct thorough audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations

• Develop and implement budget processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Analyze cash flow and make necessary adjustments or recommendations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial planning and analysis

• Oversee all accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of financial data

• Manage capital to ensure financial stability and growth for the company

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial planning and analysis strategies

• Utilize CRM for maintaining and managing customer relationships

Skills:

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Auditing

• Experience with Budget Processes and Capital Management

• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

Requirements

• Must hold a Director of Finance role or equivalent for at least 8+ years

• Proficient in performing Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiar with Budget Processes

• Experience in Capital Management

• Proficient in Cash Flow Analysis

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is required

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred

• High ethical standards and professionalism, given the fiduciary nature of the work

• Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable business strategies

• Proven ability to strategize, implement, and oversee budgeting, tax planning, and investment activities.
