Henry Schein US Financial Analyst I - Corporate Financial Analysis in Melville, New York

This position will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and review of the quarterly earnings conference call book and related earnings materials, as well as preparing several key analyses used in the quarterly earnings process, financial presentations, competitor analyses and long-range planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate all materials for the quarterly Conference Call Binder, including working with the business units to ensure the deliverables are complete, accurate and on-time.
  • Assist in the review of key quarterly earnings deliverables, including the Conference Call Script, Press Release, Q&A Document and Quarterly Presentation.
  • Prepare various sales analyses on both an internal basis and external basis, as well as at the country and product level.
  • Prepare various financial analyses, comparing year-over-year performance and performance versus budget, on several line items within the P&L, as well as headcount and acquisition reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of various presentations used by Executive Management, including the quarterly Management Meeting presentation and Board of Directors presentations.
  • Stay apprised of all changes to the financial reporting system and understand how these changes impact the team's deliverables.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Intermediate in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Proficient with Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically, 2 to 4 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $54,540-$95,445 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
