ELC Beauty LLC Technical Engineering Lead in Melville, New York

DUTIES: Hold technical responsibilities for all aspects of the Supply Chain Fill & Assembly Platform for Skincare and Fragrance from feasibility - execution phases to support a successful implementation of manufacturing technology. Partner with key leaders and serve as technical Subject Matter Expert on projects. Assist with leadership, oversight and subject matter expertise for global filling and assembly technology expansions in manufacturing. Assist in overseeing world-wide cosmetic manufacturing technology deployments and upgrades in accordance with global master plans across a network of seven + manufacturing sites supporting capacity and innovation capital projects. Ensure that people, systems and resources are in place to deliver technical scope of projects within Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule success criteria. Manage deliverables for specific technology using The Engineering Project Playbook (EPP). Be accountable for project technical scope, cost, schedule, risk/safety, IQ,OQ and vertical start up requirements including plant startup (partner with site) and communication with all key stakeholders. Develop and own technology master plan and ensure it is being followed or that proper change management is being used. Ensure effective communications within the team, management and customers of the Global Supply Chain. Partner with sites to ensure consistent use of execution strategies and contractors for all scope areas. Partner with stakeholders in Problem Solving Teams world-wide and provide subject matter expertise for root cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing equipment and technology challenges. Work with Project Engineers, Supply Planning and Category Teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of supply sufficiency data related to technology groupings, production line capabilities, capacity, etc. Influence and align on requirements with supply chain leader and R&D for successful readiness at each milestone.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent and five years of progressively responsible experience as an Engineer or related Occupation. Experience must include working in pharmaceutical/cosmetic manufacturing environments including filling, assembly, and automation; blueprint reading; Technical Writing for creation of Standard Operating Procedures, Design Guidelines, and User Requirements Specifications; AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio; problem solving tools (FMEA, DOE, etc); 25% international and domestic travel required to various manufacturing sites.

Minimum Salary: 121,659 Maximum Salary: 165,750 Salary Unit: Yearly
