Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking a Level 4 Sr. Principal Program Cost Material Management Analyst located on site in Melbourne, FL. This position will be onsite daily and requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities will include:
This Material Cost Analyst will play a critical role in Earned Value Management (EVMS) support for Major Subcontracts and General Procurement (GP) within the program.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide guidance for integration of subcontract and general procurement efforts
Assist in the coordination and execution of Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR)
Support subcontract/IWO surveillance activity
Provide financial and schedule analysis support to Subcontract PMs and CAMs
Ensure EVM data is input into the EVM tool
Ensure that probable/known increases to the ETC/EAC are reflected in the performance data
Understand and be able to effectively communicate anticipated subcontractor risks or additional scope assumed by the subcontractor per Northrop Grumman direction for inclusion in the program risk and opportunity management plan as appropriate
Additional responsibilities include: Baseline development, development and documentation of earned value methodologies, preparing month-end reports, developing and reviewing EAC's, understanding and communicating high/low material volume and price/usage variances, incorporating changes as needed into the EVMS system to maintain Major Subcontract/GP cost and schedule baselines. The analyst will also be expected to hold material cost and schedule reviews, support material forecast estimates and conduct deep dives into material cost variances as needed to ensure thorough cost management oversight of the program.
This is a fast paced high energy environment that requires a self-motivated employee to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities: thorough understanding and demonstrated success in maintaining EVM requirements on a large scale development program; using Deltek Cobra; ability to understand and communicate unique problems and recommend potential business/process solutions; ability to plan/schedule own activities to accomplish objectives with work reviewed upon completion for adequacy; exert influence on peers, internal customers, and other to support organizational goals while prioritizing activities to effectively complete them; leadership/team skills in completing interactive assignments, lead teams and clearly communicate thoughts and objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience in financial analysis and/or cost analysis or Master's Degree with 7 years of experience in financial analysis and/or cost analysis
Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or another business discipline
Experience with Accounting and EVM Business Systems (SAP/Cobra)
Experience supporting EVM reporting requirements (IPMR, IPMDAR)
Strong understanding of subcontract cost management
Knowledge of EVMS policies and procedures with external government reporting
Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Active DoD Secret Security clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Relevant EVM experience should be mentioned on your resume.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with base-lining new contracts in Cost Management with significant subcontract content
Ability to obtain and maintain program access within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the business

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
