Job Description :

L3Harris is searching for a technical professional to join the Data Center Operational Support Services team as a Senior Associate, Systems Administrator. Responsibilities for this position include supporting a Windows Domain, vulnerability and compliance remediation, physical and virtual Windows OS server support, application support, and physical and virtual desktop OS support. This position will also require the management of data center infrastructure such as, enterprise storage, fiber channel switches, and VMware vSphere Essential Functions:

  • Support and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DHCP, Site and Services, Users and Computers.

  • Responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configuration guidelines.

  • Responsible for supporting the build, configuration, and maintenance of virtual compute environments using solutions like VMware vSphere and Horizon.

  • Support software installations, upgrades, and patching to operating systems maintaining them in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service level agreements.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or related field) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Connection Brokers, UAGs, AppVolls), vRealize Operations Manager, and Log Insight.

  • Backup solutions such as NetBackup and Veeam.

  • Microsoft Certificate Authority setup and configurations

  • Familiarization with Missions Networks programs strongly preferred
