Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining customized or standardized applications. The successful candidate will employ best practices and standards in software engineering throughout the full life-cycle of software development. This includes requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance. The engineer will also be tasked with reviewing customer requirements and specifications to develop software and hardware solutions, producing and reviewing technical documents, specifications, and standards. The role also involves analyzing project requirements to translate them into specifications and programming deliverables. The ideal candidate will be capable of working under the direction of technical leadership with some self-direction. This role also requires active participation in software debugging, issue resolution, code integration, configuration management, and release processes.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Melbourne, Florida.
Work Environment
The work environment includes space communication devices, navy cleared contracts, and collaborations with industry leaders. Currently, all work is 100% onsite due to the nature of our projects. Our workspace is cubicle-based with manufacturing facilities in the back. Our team is a blend of individuals who enjoy socializing outside of work and those who are more family-oriented. Both dynamics are respected and welcomed.
