MINIMUM TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from high school supplemented by formal training in mechanical or related trades, and 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic including experience in the maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered engines.
- Experience recommended but not required, willing to Hire an apprentice.
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and have andmaintain a clean driving record.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
- Performs skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.
- Employee is responsible for assignments ranging from minor adjustments to complete engine overhauls and component rebuilds, including gasoline, diesel, and hydraulic equipment, etc.
- Employee must work independently and complete assigned tasks.
Full time Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm with an hour lunch Occasionally work on Saturday 8am-12:00pm PAY Based on skill level
