DESCRIPTION
Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Workshop
Laverton - $5,000 sign on bonus!
· Competitive hourly rate, plus overtime + bonus + super
· Fixed rotating roster 2 weeks dayshift, 1 week afternoon
· Modern well-equipped facility to be based out from!
We are looking for a talented Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Laverton specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance for our On-highway automotive customers.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Deliver a first-class service to our customers
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel and engine products
Diagnose and repair various engines
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
Work with other major OEM’s such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr etc.
Complete required documentation
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Mechanical trades qualified - Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light vehicle mechanic or plant mechanic with heavy experience
Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable
Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computers
Compensation and Benefits
· Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
· Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
· $5,000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)
