About the Role
As Night Duty Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all internal and external guests whilst also assisting with the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s overnight operations through supporting all divisions. You will be required to work across both Food and Beverage as well as Rooms departments, with a main focus on both or either operations.
The Night Manager will have a strong leadership presence in the Front Desk and Restaurant areas as well as back of house whilst providing an excellent and consistent level of service to our guests and colleagues at all times, whilst also, displaying a courteous, professional and efficient service that supports the outlets concept and Hyatt Place standards.
Main Responsibilities
· Manage hotel overnight operations in the absence of senior leadership team.
· Main point of contact for both external and internal guests during overnight operations.
· The responsible person during emergency situations, being conversant in Emergency Procedures and local legislation.
· To be flexible and adaptable to assist with duties across hotel departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage and Finance.
· Resolve guests complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
· Maintain complete hotel knowledge of all hotel features, services and hours of operation.
· Ensure the Front of House areas are well maintained, clean and tidy at all times.
· Provide guidance, support and training (as required) to other team members, as required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
· Relevant degree in Hospitality is an advantage
· Previous experience using OPERA PMS is essential
· Previous experience in a supervisory role within in a hotel is required
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong time management with the ability to juggle multiple demands
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Adaptable and able to solve problems quickly
