Langlands Restaurant & Bar is modern in nature but at the same time, rustic in character. Our kitchen provides Victorian sourced produce, married with a beverage list that will be ever changing. Langlands Restaurant's focus is fresh, colourful, sustainable and approachable.

Food & Beverage Supervisor at Hyatt Centric Melbourne:

We are looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Hyatt Centric Melbourne. This is a key role within the Food & Beverage Team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant and event services. You will work closely with your team to ensure guests receive exceptional service, creating memorable experiences every time.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support Food & Beverage staff to ensure outstanding service

  • Manage cash handling, including opening and closing cash registers

  • Assist the management team in delegating tasks and implementing Hyatt brand standards

  • Provide training and onboarding support to new associates

  • Maintain hygiene standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols

  • Assist with rostering and scheduling staff for efficient operations

Qualifications:

About You:

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a similar high-paced environment

  • A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to make sound decisions under pressure and promote ideas confidently

  • Excellent knowledge of wine and beverage offerings

  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
