The Role

As the Account Executive you will be responsible for assisting the sales team in various administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, ensuring smooth operations of the sales processes, and delivering outstanding customer service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with major Australian retailers across multiple channels, primarily supporting our Modern Trade sales team across Grocery, Discount Department Stores (DDS), and eCommerce.

Main Responsibilities

Administrative Support

• Provide ad hoc administrative support to the sales team such as preparing sales documents, claims, proposals and contracts.

• Coordinating new line launch information

• Loading Promotional programs into customer portals

• Preparing and sending samples to customers

• Assist the Account Manager in preparation for major customer meetings and events

Sales Analysis and Reporting

• Updating sales reports for account teams

• Reporting and analysis of BIC and competitor pricing and performance Customer Service

• Serve as a point of contact for broader customer teams where required, to help solve customer issues and provide information to them

Trade Shows

• Provide support to National Account Managers in the planning and preparation for trade shows, including coordinating with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication

• Basic understanding of Australian retail environment (e.g. major customers)

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

• Project management and planning skills - organisation and self-motivated imperative

• Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently to hit multiple (and short) deadlines

Desired

• Proven experience in a sales support or similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
