Ozarka College invites applications for the position of Director of TRIO Student Support Services (SSS). The position is a 12-month, full time, grant-funded position. Under the direction of the Vice President of Student Services, the TRIO Director will provide support to all areas of the TRIO Department including administrative duties of the project related to project design, personnel, and institutional collaboration. The Director of TRIO is responsible for the supervision and evaluation process of all support staff within the department.
- Prepare and submit all necessary U. S. Department of Education reports;
- Design and direct program activities throughout each grant year;
- Establish and maintain relationships with Financial Aid, Admissions and Counseling Offices;
- Establish and maintain relationships with other area TRIO programs and community service agencies;
- Represent the project at all appropriate meetings on and off campus;
- Establish policies and procedures for managing program activities, participant assessment and program evaluation;
- Establish, evaluate and revise information management and reporting systems;
- Recruit, recommend for hire, train, supervise, and evaluate project staff;
- Develop and manage project budget;
- Coordinate and assist in providing workshops and tutor training sessions for participants and peer tutors;
- Develop and coordinate participant, staff and project evaluations;
- Develop methods to document participant success and attainment of project activities;
- Research and develop funding proposal;
- Attend national, regional and state educational and professional conferences.
