OUR COMPANY OFFERS GREAT BENEFITS, INCLUDING: Generous Paid Time Off Competitive Medical, Dental & other wellness programs Disability and Life Company Paid Retirement Plan Options Generous Employee Purchase Discounts Compensation Range: $62,000 - $90,000/year The Tempur Sealy manufacturing site in Medina, OH is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor that is multi-skilled, responsible for installation/start-up and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical processes used in the manufacture of mattresses, mattress components, and similar bedding products. A successful candidate will ensure facility oversight and management of equipment located in the building or on the grounds to maximize production, functional longevity, and aesthetic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain responsibility for the installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes used in the manufacture of mattresses, mattress components, and similar bedding products. Such equipment may include sewing equipment, foam fabrication equipment, motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, etc. Manage and maximize the output of plant equipment used in production, functional longevity, and aesthetic of the products. Plan, delegate, and perform work that requires a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principles, written specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and the principles of operation and application for electronic equipment. Directly manage all maintenance staff, contractors, OEMs to ensure safety, timely production, and completion of their projects. Collaborate with Plant Director and Department Supervisors to ensure successful accomplishment of the site's production needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience with a demonstrated understanding of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems, including hydraulic systems, HVAC, low- and high-pressure-pumps, open and closed loop piping systems, and PLC's. Two years' supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience with computer maintenance management systems. Skills in developing, communicating, and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with and among employees. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management. Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving sense of urgency Solid computer skills, to include data entry, Excel, and Word.
