Position Purpose: Responsible for welding brake shoes.Hourly Pay Range: $18.75 - $21.75Essential Functions:Maintain Environmental Health and Safety standards in the workplaceLoads brake shoe parts into the fixture and verifies quality of parts.Keep work area clean at all times Work in a safe manner at all times Other duties as assigned Education and TrainingHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum QualificationsGood communication skillsMust be able to work independentlyAbility to work well with others Physical DemandsMust be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs.Must be able to lift 25lbsMust be able to bend, twist and lift repetitivelyAbility to work in tight placesGood hand/eye coordination and good motor skillsDemonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulationsEnvironmental ConditionsEar and Eye protection required at all times in production areasWelders Face Shield or Goggles are required at all times in production areaExposure to a noisy work environmentExposure to hot and humid conditionsExposure to coolants, oils, grease and waterExposure to hot steel Exposure to fumesExposure to welding arcSteel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all timesHendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
