The RoleWe are looking for a strong Principal Compensation Analyst to help drive growth as our company and HR team are transforming and growing strategically. Reporting to the Total Rewards function, this role is responsible for activities related to compensation and equity areas. You will have a key role on our global HR team, serving the global business through HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and HRIS. You will also have a role in managing interactions with various internal stakeholders such as FP&A, Treasury, Accounting and Payroll teams for accruals, projections and communications as required. Your Impact General Responsibilities: Provide internal support for global line management and HR on all issues related to the application of AspenTech's compensation programs. Lead and conduct competitive analyses ranging from ad-hoc to complex proposals for management teams and Human Capital Compensation Committee. Lead and conduct detailed analyses to ensure AspenTech's pay programs are competitive with the market while maintaining internal equity. Implement global compensation and equity programs that remain consistent with local market conditions, company-wide financial objectives, business strategy and HR strategy. Utilize strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify trends & patterns in datasets and interpret, synthesize, and communicate the meaning of the data being presented for compensation strategies. May act as a project lead to manage project milestones, timelines and stakeholders. Performs other duties and ad hoc projects related to compensation and equity and reporting as requested. Compensation Responsibilities: Play a key role in compensation administration processes including merit increase, promotion/market adjustment and bonus using Workday. Conduct an annual review of jobs and salary structures to align with the market. Participate in industry compensation surveys and maintain PayScale survey database. Build and maintain job architecture related to job functions, job families, job family descriptions, global salary structures with integrity of system of record. Provide functional compensation expertise to HRIS and HR Business Partners on compensation programs and initiatives. Conduct weekly audit for data accuracy and reporting using the system of record. Provide monthly accrual files to finance on bonus and align with the FP&A team. Equity Responsibilities: Manage various keep the business running activities such as: ESPP process which consists of prep-work, enrollment and enablement sessions, New hire grant review and processing, Weekly audit for data accuracy. Conduct CEO pay ratio analysis and support in the proxy process. Support Sr Stock Plan Administrator with maintenance of company's equity data using Fidelity Stock Plan. Works with all reports within equity tools and Excel and performs reconciliations to review accuracy of equity and transaction data. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience required.8+ years of experience in a similar Compensation and equity roles. Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work effectively within a global and matrixed organization. Detailed knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation principles, methods, procedures, and technique. Proven ability to align HR strategy to bu iness needs for a measurable impact. Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop strong and influential business relationships. Proven capabilities in guiding organizations through periods of change. Comfortable to challenge the status quo with a passion to deliver results in a dynamic environment. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred * Workday Compensation experience preferred.
