JOB REQUIREMENTS: Taylor County is seeking a full-time Mental Health Counselor. Individual will provide assessment/diagnosis, counseling or psychotherapeutic services to clients, mental health prevention services, crisis intervention services, mental health consultation and training, referral services to inquiries about community resources, and maintain case records while adhering to federal, state and county laws, regulations and policies. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for this position must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or other similar degree. A desirable candidate will have 3,000 hours of supervised clinical work experience and experience working with Serious Emotional Disturbance children/adolescents and families. AODA training is optional, but helpful.
