RN Nurse Manager (Dialysis)

Provides the leadership necessary so the values expressed in the mission and standards of Strive Healthcare are integrated into daily operations.
Maintains an organizational perspective at all times and works to develop systems that support organizational initiatives.
Assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the supervision and management of personnel and material resources necessary to maintain optimal functioning of the unit.
Responsibilities include compliance with existing laws and regulatory agencies, supervision and support of department staff, interdepartmental as well as intra-departmental coordination, development and management of departmental budget, oversight of adequate supplies and equipment, supervision ensuring a clean and safe environment and allocation and balances resources with workload.
Works collaboratively to develop the Performance Improvement Plan for the unit and models and encourages data-driven decision-making.
Works collaboratively with the management team to maximize efficiencies, minimize duplication, and ensure continuity of all processes in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards to provide comprehensive and safe patient care.
Nursing degree: ADN or diploma is required,.
Current Oregon RN state licensure
12 months of nursing experience is required.
6 months of ESRD experience required
BSN or MSN
Demonstrated experience in personnel and budget management is preferred.
Experience in budgeting, program and planning and organizational skills recommended
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills, including computer basics, word processing and data analysis
Demonstrates flexibility regarding scheduling and work assignment
Strong leadership, teaching, and group/team interaction skills
Ability to promote change process in a positive and supportive manner
