Advance Local Packaging Operator - Evenings in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Position : Packaging Operator - Evenings

Location : Mechanicsburg, PA

We need solid warehouse or manufacturing candidates to work evenings with a part-time schedule at our Mechanicsburg production facility. Are you looking to join a new team and a new company? If yes, look no further! Pay is $16/hr. Packaging team members will work evenings inserting advertisements into our publications and those of our clients. Join us in producing the most-read publication in our local community. If you're a team player, reliable, safety-conscious, and take satisfaction in a job well done, you'll do well on our production team. Experience helpful but not required. Hours are generally 4 or 5 pm to 11 pm or midnight on several nights a week, holidays and weekends.

Benefits: Employees earn paid time off with each pay period. Part-time staff also receive one floating holiday to take each year and holiday pay when working on a holiday. Benefit eligibility occurs once hours/length of service requirement is met.

Job involves handling advertising inserts and the bundling of newspapers for distribution in our climate controlled environment which includes air conditioning. Position requires basic math and reading skills, along with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Our readers look to newspaper advertising inserts to help them as consumers shop the goods and services they need. And we'll look to you to help us ensure that advertising inserts are placed in the newspaper on-time and accurately. We work as a team to get the job done and value those we can count on! Candidates are welcome to see facility and engage in in-person interview.
