Horizon Farm Credit Operations Coordinator in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Overview - Horizon Farm Credit is actively seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team. The qualified candidate may work in either the Mechanicsburg, PA, Winchester, VA, or Westminster, MD branch location. The hours of operation are typically, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment. Position Description - In this position, you will act as a key resource and contact for construction loans from closing to completion. You will be the primary resource and point of contact for loan officers, borrowers, and builders in relation to the construction disbursement process. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of state requirements and standard construction practices, while not essential previous experience with Built software is considered an added value. This position also involves providing support across various construction portfolios and assisting teammates as needed.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Construction Loan Administration:

   Input, monitor, and administer construction loans during the construction phase to ensure compliance with Horizon and investor requirements.  Review construction projects to ensure completion of required documents, understand the scope of work, and identify potential red flags or missing information.  Serve as the primary contact for loan officers, borrowers, and builders throughout the construction phase.  Assist lenders during the construction loan process by answering questions and helping structure projects to align with preferred practices.  Monitor payments and disbursements to ensure balancing across loan systems.  Ensure construction is completed within the required timeframes. 

Experience:

 

   Generally, 1 -3 years of experience in customer service, portfolio management, or construction management is preferred. 

Qualifications:

 

   Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.  Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people and work collaboratively.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  Strong organizational and time management skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, Built construction management software, and other industry software.  Flexible work schedule to meet high-volume demands.  Ability to travel to/from other branch offices, associations, Ag First, or other facilities as necessary.  Consistent exhibition of ACRES values as represented in HFC's Core Values.  Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.  Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.  Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is required.
