Our client is offering a great entry-level opportunity in the accounting field in Harrisburg, PA! This nonprofit organization is looking for assistance with accounting data entry for their finance team. The position is a contract role, and would be a great way to gain work experience directly in the field of accounting!

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer records ensuring all information is up-to-date

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Print and sort statements, ensuring they are correctly filed

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and email correspondence

• Organize files and documents in a systematic manner

Requirements

• Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Strong skills in email correspondence, ensuring clear and effective communication

• Ability to organize files systematically for easy retrieval and updating

• Fast and accurate typing skills with an emphasis on grammar and spelling

• Prior experience in a non-profit organization would be beneficial but is not necessary

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• High level of confidentiality and discretion due to the sensitive nature of data handled
