Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We have an opening for an Electrical Maintenance Technician on either the 3rd shift or the weekend shift. The 3rd shift runs from 11pm to 7:30am, and training will occur on the first shift for a couple of months. The weekend shift is from 6am to 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, with two additional days during the week that you can choose. Once selected, these days will remain consistent each week.
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment, systems, and controls within our facility. You will diagnose problems with PLC controls, ladder logic, microprocessor-based equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and process ventilation systems. Your duties will include identifying, repairing, or replacing damaged or defective parts on equipment, preparing requisitions for spare parts and other required supplies, and performing routine preventative maintenance according to the maintenance schedule. You will also handle minor table rebuilds, O-rings, seals, chip conveyors, gearboxes, valves, hoses, and other components that are worn out or leaking. Additionally, you will be responsible for rigging, moving equipment, installations, and tear-downs. Accurate clerical duties related to work orders, spare parts, and preventative maintenance will also be required. Ensuring compliance with all quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations and guidelines is essential. You will provide support during plant emergencies and maintain the work area to company housekeeping standards.
