DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This is a critical role where you will ensure all operations are completed in accordance with internal management objectives and department policies within Crawford County. You will determine inventory needs based on stockpile reviews, as well as monitor the work of contractors. We work in a team environment, and you will work with other county staff on complex issues, as well as assist in reviewing and analyzing data from the Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) Plant Maintenance and Roadway Management Systems to ensure program goals are achieved and overall systems control is maintained. You will review work plans to balance workload, labor, materials, equipment, and funds to complete projects and make changes to work plans when required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Travel may be required, including overnight. You may also be required to work overtime as operationally necessary. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree. Other Requirements: This particular position requires possession of an active Class C non-commercial Driver's License. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
