Laborers – immediate opportunities!

PLI Scapes, the landscaping and maintenance branch of Prairie Landworks Inc, is currently looking for laborers for our mowing operation. We are part of an established construction company which can provide continued employment in the offseason.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure all mowers and equipment are serviced and loaded properly each morning

  • Perform mowing and trimming on residential and commercial lawns

  • Ensure all work is completed properly and in a timely matter

  • Identify more efficient ways to perform work

  • Provide labor associated with the maintenance of all lawns (sod rehab, seeding, aerating, etc.)

  • Proper use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment

  • Ensure equipment is in good working order and preventative maintenance is performed as needed

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications :

  • Must have a great attitude and be willing to work hard

  • Experience in a commercial lawn service, grounds maintenance at a golf course or grounds maintenance at larger industrial complex is preferred

  • Kansas driver’s license required

  • Kansas pesticide license is a plus

  • Pass a background check, pre-employment and random drug testing

  • Enjoys making work fun for his/her crew and subcontractors
