We recently opened our new headquarters tower in Tysons, Virginia. At 31 stories, it’s the tallest occupied building in the Washington D.C. area. It transformed our site from a single building into a growing and dynamic community, and hub for our region—Tysons Campus. And we’re not done! That’s why our Tysons Regional team is looking to add a Sr. Manager, Workplace Site Operations as we continue to evolve our footprint into a truly spectacular mixed-use campus.
A typical day in the life of this Sr. Manager, Workplace Site Operations :
Lead third-party providers responsible for facilities, space planning, moves, food and beverage services, hospitality, conferencing and print/mail services
Implement/program manage strategic initiatives
Be a change agent and advocate for real estate
Manage day-to-day relationships with our internal customers and lines of business
Develop and execute real estate strategies that meet the needs of your customers
Partner with internal real estate associates to create solutions and solve problems
Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Legal, HR, IT and Security
You’ll need to wear many hats, including:
Relationship Builder: You engage with cross-functional teams at all levels and serve as a trusted real estate expert.
Problem-solver: You partner with your internal clients to understand their intent and goals, develop plans that meet their needs and relentlessly pursue options to deliver high-performing results.
Communicator & Collaborator: You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You leverage different approaches and build on the ideas and perspectives of others.
Juggler: You don’t get overwhelmed or flustered easily and tackle deliverables with a sense of urgency. You manage multiple tasks at a time with a high-degree of skill and time efficiency.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 10 years of experience in Facilities Management or Relationship Management
At least 5 years of experience managing facilities for multiple locations
Preferred qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in Supplier Management
At least 5 years of experience in Project Management
At least 5 years of experience in People Management
At least 12 years of experience in Facilities Management
