Steampunk Senior Salesforce Application Developer in McLean, Virginia
Overview
As a Steampunk Senior Salesforce Application Developer , you will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well‐architected solutions that bestleveragethe Salesforce platform. Develop, test, document andmaintainsolutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and Lightning components. Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests. Follow coding standards andparticipatein code reviews during projects to ensureappropriate designpatterns are followed.
Contributions
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs
Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in Salesforce application
Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholdersregardingstatus, technicalissuesand creative solutions
Perform Salesforce platform administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.) and development
Ability to support Salesforce configuration tasks such as field/page updates, Lightning Flows, automated approvals
Handlenumerousprojects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
Develop Salesforce solutions within the Salesforce DX framework
Manage the code review process and support team members in developing solutions using best practices
Monitor Salesforce.com usage for compliance
Maintain security for Salesforce.com data
Interface with business analysts and technical staff andbe responsible fordelivering complete work products
Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff
Research and develop new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications
Research and keep current on Salesforce products and technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
Build client trust and respect,establishclient relationships, and develop rapport with client
Participate and engage in all team meetings
Document best practices and operational procedures
Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree and 7 years of work experience
Must be a U.S Citizen eligibleto obtain andmaintainand government security clearance * *
5+ years of experience with Salesforce development
Must have proven knowledge of Salesforce data structure and understanding of how toleveragethe tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
Must have proven knowledge and practical application of APEX programming, Salesforce APIs, and Web Services
Must have proven knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum methodology
Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, MSTeams, face-to-face)
Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with shared goals
Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and analysis
Salesforce Developer certification(s)-Salesforce Platform Developer I

Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Knowledge and experience with Salesforce DX /DevOpsmethodologies preferred
