The MITRE N223 Research and Advanced Capability Development Department, in the Office of Secretary of Defense Division, is seeking a Secure Conference Administrator to support operations in a secure conferencing facility. This position will work across many of the MITRE sponsor base and interact daily with various MITRE project leads to meet requirements for secure conferencing, and project support.

Job Description:

The Conference Administrator provides support for the management and execution of large classified conferences. They will be responsible for independently determining and developing best practices to ensure the success of classified conferences while maintaining compliance with the NISPOM, ICDs and MITRE security policies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Apply a working knowledge of government and MITRE security policies to manage the day-to-day operations of classified conferences

  • Coordinate with internal and external customers to oversee meeting logistics

  • Conduct security briefings to facilitate security instructions commensurate to the level needed to perform the classified conference requirements.

  • Operate the equipment needed for conferences (VTC, PC, A/V, etc.)

  • Develop, review, coordinate, and execute Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the secure facility

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent in education, or equivalent combination of high school courses and related work experience

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI

  • Proficient at professionally communicating verbally and in writing

  • Possess the poise and professional demeanor necessary to address large audiences consisting of high-ranking military and government personnel

  • Capable of independent action and able to use sound judgement in the absence of instructions

  • Ability to work overtime when necessary

  • This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance

  • Working knowledge of NISPOM and ICDs

  • Experience working with DOD, IC, and other government entities
