JOB OVERVIEW

The Pricing Manager will be Sunrise’s pricing expert and the liaison for sales and community leadership to be the single-point contact for pricing inquiries, feedback, and support. Support Sr Manager Pricing with our regional sales, operations, marketing, asset management team, and Revenue Analytics, our third party hosted solution platform for our revenue management tool, will be key to ensure competitive pricing responses aligns to Sunrise’s strategic business plan.

This role will be actively engaged in internal, and external competitive intelligence, collecting and analyzing information on market trends and conditions, evaluating anticipated occupancy demand, and using the information to develop pricing recommendations and strategies that align with the overall revenue strategies of the organization.

• Leverage feedback from internal stakeholders and adapt to price accordingly.

• Perform micro level analysis on community pricing obstacles and develop actionable pricing strategies to help

communities achieve their business goals.

• Perform micro level market analysis to understand and influence our value proposition within each of our markets.

• Proactively seek out pricing opportunities within the portfolio with the goal of driving RevPAR.

• Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness and make recommendations for improved pricing

strategies.

• Continually evaluate and enhance our internal processes to drive efficiencies and ensure timely response to dynamic

market conditions.

• Analyze financial impact of pricing approach in view of profitability of customer, historical financial results, and profit

margin objectives.

• Support in the evaluation and make recommendations of new products and/or care level marketing strategies to

promote transparency for consumers and team members, while maximizing RevPAR across our North American

portfolio

• In partnership with accounting/billing, implement annual in place rate increases to communities to ensure timely and

accurate communications.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• 5+years revenue management experience.

• Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating pricing strategies for a large portfolio is a plus.

• Comprehensive knowledge of senior living industry and regulatory compliance requirements preferred.

• Community visits and travel will be an essential part of this role to engage into Sunrise’s culture and passion for

service.
