Role Summary

Splunk is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to be the go-to person to drive our dedication to operational excellence across our organization. Your in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and focused analytical approach to reviewing data and processes will enable you to work closely with our Digital Sales teams, Demand Generation marketing teams, Sales Operations as well as IT partners to identify operational challenges and opportunities to build solutions.

Your strong understanding of Lead Distribution processes, Marketing campaigns and Demand Generation initiatives will come in handy as you work to identify areas for improvement, design technical solutions, and effectively communicate with business users and leadership.

What you'll get to do

  • Work with regional business owners to find opportunities for improvement to our systems in order to grow pipeline and scale effectiveness. Projects may include launching new technologies, optimizing existing workflows, supporting new features, enabling users, etc.

  • Provide support on processes related to reporting, creating documentation, user training, and data clean ups.

  • Own our lead routing engine to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of qualified leads to sales teams and optimize lead distribution models for faster response time.

  • Optimize our current tech stack as well as evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies.

Must-have Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in LeanData. Certifications preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce in an administrator role. Certifications preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations or similar operations functions (e.g. Sales Ops, Business Ops)

  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce’s architecture (e.g. page layouts, roles/profile permissions, queues, workflows, etc.)

  • Experience optimizing operational processes in Marketing or Sales apps (e.g. Marketo, Drift, Outreach.io, LeanData, ZoomInfo, etc.)

  • Highly skilled at time-management, is meticulous with details and has high standards for project delivery.

  • Experience managing ticketing systems (Jira, Workfront, ServiceNow, etc.) highly desired.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Technology, or related field, or equivalent years of proven experience.
