This role will support acceptance testing functions on production AND development/prototype products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site.

The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing / production environment on 2nd shift. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.

Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred

What You Will Do:

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.

  • Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the devices under test.

  • Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.

  • Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.

  • Interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.

  • Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools

  • This will be an onsite role working the 2nd shift.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience

  • Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.

  • Experience with Microsoft excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs.

  • Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Minimum 2 years of testing experience. Education in a STEM background may be substituted for work experience.

  • Experience with Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, Programmable Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, and other test assets

  • Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.

  • Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
