Job Summary :

The Systems Engineering (SE) Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).

The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) department is looking for a Product Owner & Control Account Manager (CAM) - Senior Principal Systems Engineer in McKinney, Texas. LWMDS supports all aspects of Systems Engineering that facilitate the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area. The LWMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges. Key technical domains include Radar Systems and Sensor Netting, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration, and Interoperability for Domestic and International customers.

This will be an on-site role in McKinney, Texas .

Responsibilities to Anticipate :

  • You will perform Product Owner and Control Account Manager work on the Multi-Function Radar Frequency System (MFRFS) Product Line.

  • You will be responsible for tracking and reporting program implementation, helping track supplier issues, systems engineering follow through and shaping the MFRFS Product Line through architecture, requirements, interface definition and collaboration with stakeholders such as customers and engineers from outside of Raytheon.

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and ten (10) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:

  • Experience with Missile Defense Systems or other related systems engineering experience

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) Certification

  • Advanced degree in EE, CE, Physics, Math, ME, Aerospace.

  • Experience in Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems including radar, interceptor, Command and Control systems

  • Experience using DOORs

  • Experience working as part of a team

  • Experience communicating with team members and customers both verbally and in writing

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
