Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Equipment Operator. This position repairs and maintains asphalt and concrete structures including streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, bridges, landscapes and culverts. Operates various types of equipment for transportation of personnel, supplies and other equipment. Operates heavy construction equipment to make asphalt and concrete repairs. Serves as a member of the first response team that assists in emergencies such as snow, ice and storm damage debris removal. Performs related duties as assigned. Work is performed under the direction of the Foreman.
Candidates must have the knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. At least two years experience operating and working with heavy equipment are required. Must have a level of education equivalent to four years of high school. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record. ::: ::: ::: :::
