Adecco US, Inc. Cherry Picker Operator in Mcdonough, Georgia

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform order picking and other warehouse tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse.

  • Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.

  • Ensure the accurate and safe stacking and storage of goods.

  • Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance.

  • Assist in inventory control and manage stock levels.

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.

  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid forklift operator certification.

  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating a forklift.

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions.

Shift Schedule:

  • Shift is currently 12pm - 8:30pm but will return to the original 4pm - 12:30am shift in the upcoming weeks.

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
