We are actively seeking reliable, vibrant individuals to join our team as Nursing Assistants. This position is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients and clients, as well as acting as a liaison between the healthcare team and the patients family. This position is ideal for anyone who has experience caring for elderly patients and is looking for a position with both long term and short term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic personal care services such as bathing or dressing.
- Provide specific nursing care to patients who are elderly, disabled, or ill.
- Promote the physical and psychological well-being of the residents and create an environment in which residents can get well again.
- Inform residents about various aspects of the facility (e.g., facilities for rehabilitation therapy, recreational activities, future discharge plans).
- Be able to communicate with nurses and other medical professionals.
- Maintain cleanliness in washrooms and toilets by doing necessary cleaning tasks.
