PALENQUE MANAGEMENT LLC Supervisor of Restaurant Operation in Mcallen, Texas
Job Duties:
- Coordinate the operation of the restaurant units, according to the brand's operating manual, in order to increase the profitability of the locations, keep the staff engaged and ensure customer satisfaction
- Consolidate the administrative reports for the analysis of income statements and profitability of the stores under your supervision
- Control the budget assigned to each location.
- Follow up on spending control strategies based on the analysis and projection of brand costs.
- Supervise the key indicators that impact the development of the locations: sales, profit, cost, losses, inventories, complaints, accidents, staff turnover.
- Ensure that the locations place an adequate order for supplies to supply the operation.
- Supervise the purchase of the necessary supplies on time, to execute the operation and verify that they comply with the quality standards.
- Verify the efficient use of the point of sale and ensure that information is captured, as a tool for the analysis of the indicators.
- Communicate to the Regional Manager the challenges and / or conflicts that generate the greatest impact on the financial and operational levels of the brand.
- Notify the Regional Manager of critical operational needs for purchase authorization.
- Control the proper handling of petty cash at the branches.
- Implement service strategies, promotions and marketing authorized by corporate, to increase the sales indicator.
- Carry out a general analysis of the market and the products, to identify competitors and the needs of the guests.
- Evaluate the service provided in the locations and follow up on the areas of opportunity to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Analyze and follow up on complaints and suggestions.
- Visit locations to assess operational levels.
- Supervise the execution of operational procedures, in order to have a culture focused on the control of resources and generate the satisfaction of the Host.
- Establish meetings with General Managers to evaluate indicators.
- Carry out job interviews, as a filter for the selection of the finalist candidate.
- Evaluate the Detection of Training Needs.
- Analyze the indicators of: absenteeism, cost of payroll, training, turnover, accidents, and salaries.
- Hold meetings with Managers, to present results, inform safety recommendations, training needs and reinforce company policies.
- Report promotions of positions of the employees. Analyze the turnover rates by location.
- Execution and monitoring of strategies in conjunction with Human Capital to reduce turnover.
- Authorize salary adjustments in accordance with established policies.
Requirements:
Four (4) years of experience in managing company operations in the food serviceindustry.

Travel:10% travel to Edinburg, TX and Palmhurst, TX
