WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • JOB SUMMARY

Manage, plan, direct, and coordinate engineering program in our industrial plant by performing the following duties:

Responsible for the process improvement, infrastructure updates through contractors, ESG goals, and Capex management. Lead their team in driving cost reductions, energy efficiency, and automation projects. Also takes a lead role in new product integration

  • WHAT YOU WILL DO

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, development, implementation, and start up maintenance of manufacturing processes and operations. Is also responsible for infrastructure and facilities maintenance through sourced contractors.

  • Oversee the development of new products, solutions, and processes, and manages project schedules, budgets, andcommunications. Is responsible for the development of the annual Capex plan as well as monitoring progress and status of all Capex projects.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff, and manage work assignments. Coach employees informally and in monthly 1:1 meetings. Instill/maintain a strong high performance culture, while modeling Company values and behaviors.

  • Evaluate and implement strategies to improve productivity, lower costs, and meet key ESG targets such as energy reduction, waste elimination, or waste reuse and sustainability.

  • Ensure that process capability meets or exceeds quality and safety compliance standards.

  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with other team leaders and departments.

  • Forge and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods. Collaborate with vendors to arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.

  • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflows, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Is responsible for tools used in evaluating capacity as it relates to existing and new products.

  • Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.

  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in related field of study and 5+ years related work experience or Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study and 7+ years related work experience or Associate’s Degree in related field of study and 9+ years related work experience or High School Diploma or GED and 11+ years related work experience

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams

  • Apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Reach and grasp objects / hand eye coordination.

  • Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.

  • Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.

  • Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

  • Identify and distinguish color and shades of color.

  • Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury.

  • Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to extreme temperature, noise level, and other conditions including second-hand smoke and/or vape.

  • Risk for occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
