What you’ll do:

  • Clinical staff pharmacists provide pharmaceutical care services to all patients of the hospital including, but not limited to, oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information and oversight over information and dispensing systems. Pharmacists will work with the pharmacy team to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations, as well as proper storage and documentation of pharmaceuticals. This position processes medication orders for age-appropriate and disease-appropriate medication therapy, supervises the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure the delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services, provide medication information to other health care team members to assist them in their patient care activities, and acts as an interface between pharmacy and its customers to coordinate the delivery of Pharmacy services.

What you'll need for this job:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)

  • Residency: Pharmacy Practice - General (Preferred)

  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

  • Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
