Our number one job is to ensure that the time spent in our salons is the best part of our guests day. We do this by providing top level customer service, assisting guests with deciding which service or membership is right for them, and keeping all of our salons and equipment in pristine condition.This is a part time position our ideal candidate will be able to commit to at least 12 hours per week (2 or 3 shifts). Starting pay for the position is $15 per hour and you will be making $17 per hour within one year of completing our training and certification program. We also have a generous bonus program based on product and membership sales. Our average Tanning Consultant makes an additional $1 to $4 per hour worked through their bonuses. Our staff also gets tips because we go above and beyond for everyone of our guests. During a typical shift you will need to:Provide a consistently high level of customer service to all Soleil Tans guests.Sell Soleil Tans memberships, upselling existing members, and helping guests Understand each lotion and up-sells to each clientUnderstand each tanning bed and upsells to each client as appropriateUnderstand health and safety issues and can clearly convey information to clientsHandle data entry duties in a timely and accurate mannerWork with management to maintain top level customer service and exceed standard tanning industry expectationsEnsure laundry, facility and equipment are kept clean and well maintained at all timesFollow bed cleaning schedule and procedures as requestedUpholds Soleil Tans image in all employee, client and general public relationsAttends all mandatory meetings (this time is paid!)Minimum Requirements:Experience in a customer facing role - we are looking for guest service rockstars!Must be friendly and enthusiasticMust be neat, well-groomed and attentive to appearanceMust be on-time and prepared to work as scheduledAvailable at least 12 hours per week including at least one Saturday or Sunday per week.Preferred Requirements:At least one year in a retail or other sales driven environment. You will be paid on sales of memberships and other products. If you help us grow, you WILL get paid.Compensation:Starting pay is $15/hour with a guaranteed raise to $17/hour one year after completing our training and certification program. (We step you up along the way throughout your first year!)Monthly sales bonuses based on your individual and company performance.
