Label containers for Sherwin products in accordance with specified procedures & standards. These duties are to be performed in accordance with all safety rules, including the wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment, including flame retardant uniforms and steel toed, static dissipating shoes if working in the paint plant. Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors Setup and change over label machines to cover peak operation Make minor repairs and adjustments to labeler and/or notify supervisor or maintenance of major problems. Perform clean down procedures to labeling equipment. Label cans on labeler and/or by hand. Advise Supervisor or Quality Control of any problems with equipment or product not meeting specifications. Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly. Count remaining inventory of packaging materials at the end of production run, prior to having them put in racks. Perform other duties assigned.
