GENERAL FUNCTION

The Finance Manager will be a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing analytical insights to support the decision-making process in a variety of projects. Key activities include performing financial analysis and cross-channel modeling in support of business development activities, strategic growth initiatives, promotions and product launches. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Finance and will work in collaboration with FP&A practitioners, as well as Marketing, Commercial, and business leaders, to address business needs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Synthesize large amounts of data into executive level reporting dashboards to drive performance and decision-making

  • Build strong relationships with the Marketing and Commercial organizations’ stakeholders to ensure a solid understanding of their business goals and objectives

  • Analyze companywide and cross-business unit results; provide performance insights to executive team

  • Develop recommendations to achieve the organization’s financial objectives and present executive summary to business unit leaders

  • Perform financial analysis and modeling to determine present and future financial performance of new business models and long-term strategic initiatives

  • Provide full profitability analysis on key Marketing initiatives and product launches

  • Analyze lines of business (products, services etc.) to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action (adhoc support to the organization)

  • Perform deep dive analytics to identify relationships and driving factors associated with key outcomes

  • Develops, maintains, reviews and presents comprehensive and summarized reporting packages to monitor performance

  • Participates and contributes in systems development and enhancements project for the Finance organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to analyze large and complex data sets to solve business problems and create data models, visualizations, metrics, and dashboards that drive strategic direction.

  • Strong modeling techniques and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions without specific step-by-step instructions

  • Strong skills needed in development of presentation tools/dashboards.

  • Effectively communicates and engages with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams and outside of the Finance organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented. Project Management experience a plus.

  • Self-motivated leader with an intellectual curiosity, eager to learn and grow, able to learn on their own

  • A fast learner, able to understand the business in a short timeframe.

  • Ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly

  • SAP knowledge is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree required – Finance or Business Administration preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, business case development, or financial reporting & analysis.

  • Proficient with BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools, and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly

  • Proven working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with financial software (SAP, Oracle)

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
