A BRIEF OVERVIEW The Senior Project Manager, Additive Manufacturing manages projects related to New Product Innovation (NPI) for additive manufacturing technology. He/she reports directly to the VP, Machining & Operations Excellence and works closely with the Orchid additive manufacturing team, and external Customer teams to plan, and execute projects to grow Orchid's additive manufacturing business. He/she will work closely with Site leadership, in addition to leading large multi-site programs, including reporting of project status to executive leadership team. Occasional domestic travel is required. This position will be located at our Orchid Lansing facility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Directs project team(s) to meet objectives of projects that are complex in scope, risk, and/or span multiple Orchid facilities. Organizes and guides project operations including engineering design, subcontracts procurement, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and project closure using Orchid project management methodologies and tools. Actively manages the development and preparation of business cases, cost/benefit analysis, and project budgets Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones, and resources required to meet project objectives; prioritizes project tasks based on capacity, due dates and critical paths Identifies key stakeholders and gains their active participation; maintains multi-functional team relationships Ensures clear scope and manages scope change, communication, issues and risks to meet project objectives Maintains and monitors key project deliverables; evaluates and reports progress in terms of quality, financial, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders and committees Understands the roles and responsibilities of all project team members; coordinates problem resolution and provides direction, leadership and training to project team participants Generally has high demands for managerial duties and responsibilities Monitors project financial performance to maintain the quality, delivery, and service within the proposed budget Develops extensive project management controls for complex projects Provides performance feedback to the manager of each project team participant Acts as the customer's point of contact and facilitates communication between the customer and the project team to ensure complete customer satisfaction Provides feedback and participates in the continuous improvement of the project management process Contributes regularly to the organizational learning and drive the groups' ability to improve Supports quality and compliance by complying with all Quality Management Systems (QMS) / Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including documentation requirements and supports plan(s) to meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Quality in the areas of Safety, Compliance, Six Sigma Quality , On-Time Delivery (OTD) and financial objectives

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor (Required)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 3+ Years of project leadership, including 1-2 years management of complex projects (Required) 4+ Years of Manufacturing Experience (Preferred) Project Management Experience (Preferred)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 10% Some travel may be required
