We are seeking a part time non- exempt Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for all areas of maintenance tasks at Wisper\'s Facilities primarily focusing on building/property maintenance, janitorial duties as well as assisting with vehicle and small engine inspection and maintenance.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Work with other departments to document and complete requested Facilities tasks
Assist with updating training manuals and policies/procedures for the department
Janitorial duties as needed
Keep track of cleaning and facility supplies as well as ordering the supplies as needed
Perform safety duties, including checking fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, etc.
Maintenance of remote tower sites including mowing, installing signs, painting, etc.
Mowing, maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal as needed
Must be able to prioritize different task to ensure completion of required monthly, weekly or daily projects
Under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, plan and perform basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs and handyman work as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements for Position
Current valid Driver\'s License
Comfortable with hand and power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, etc
Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others
Ability to be added to Company auto insurance policy
Must demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments and meetings
Regular and predictable attendance required

Extremely Safety Conscious
Enjoys working in all weather conditions
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Fast-paced, environment with multiple changes to schedules and fluctuating priorities. Indoor/ Outdoor work environment.
Work performed in various weather conditions
Must pass a background check, MVR & drug screen
Physical Requirements: Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs. Moderate: Lifting 0-25 lbs. X-Heavy: Lifting 25+ lbs.
