Job Description:

WORK SHIFT : 8 hour shift between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Evening & weekend hours are occasional or on a rotation basis. Temporary position scheduled to go through March 2025. Position can be remote after completing 60-90 day onsite training period.

The Customer Service Representative-SHP primary responsibility is to ensure positive customer interacts with Security Health Plan's customers. The individual will interact with members, applicants, providers, and agents via telephone, fax, email, or in person, with the majority of contact conducted over the telephone. The Customer Service Representative-SHP will identify the customer's concern and appropriately research and resolve the inquiry in a timely manner; this may include forwarding the request as applicable. Potential for permanent opportunity as well.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education : Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business administration.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Experience Required : Two years' experience with customer service. Demonstrated proficiency with handling high-pressure situations and with verbal and

written communication skills.

Preferred/Optional Experience: Experience working in a health insurance call center.

Potential for permanent positions when they become available. Permanent positions also have potential for working remote after initial training.

Positions listed as 20 – 29 hours per week are offered the level 2 benefit package.
