Emerson Project Manager in Marshalltown, Iowa

Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager! If you have a deep understanding of project management and stakeholder engagement, this role is perfect for you. As a Project Manager, you will lead complex and high value projects, collaborating closely with Impact Partners and Global Industry Sales (GIS) and our North America based factories. Your interpersonal skills will shine as you navigate the organization, manage customer relationships, and work closely with Impact Partners. Be a key player in our exciting projects!

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Establish relationships with Emerson customers and partners to ensure project success and win future business.

  • Be the communication hub of assigned projects with customers, sales, scheduling, manufacturing, quality, and shipping.

  • Make decisions in end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end while implementing project level processes, procedures, and performance metrics.

  • Lead complex initiatives handling all activities in a project lifecycle including: quoting, customer engagement, PO reconciliation, schedule maintenance, engaging manufacturing plants on deliverables and schedules, scheduling inspections and arranging final shipment of product.

  • Collaborate with subject matter authorities within the organization to resolve issues.

  • Communicate schedules and objectives among customers and internal departments.

  • Manage changes in project scope, identify potential concerns and devises contingency plans to mitigate project risks.

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documents and presentation.

WHO YOU ARE:

You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • BA or BS Degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree

  • 3 years of Project Management experience or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability of Project Management concepts including scheduling, planning, order management, etc.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% for onsite customer meetings

  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience in manufacturing principles

  • 3+ years Flow Controls - Fisher experience
