Wiley University Unarmed Security Officer - Marshall in Marshall, Texas
**Wiley University is now hiring Unarmed Security Officers. Security Officers support the institution in maintaining a safe and secure environment in which to live learn, and work.
SECURITY OFFICERS WILL:
- Patrol the campus premises including University buildings, and property, and patrol parking lots to ensure their security;
- Check incoming and outgoing traffic on campus;
- Regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic;
- Check all automobiles on University property for proper parking as well as parking permits;
- Detect and deter crimes or violations of University regulations;
- Provide information about Wiley University to students, staff, and the general public;
- Provide security for University events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED;
- Never convicted, pled guilty, been on court-ordered community service, or deferred adjudication for a Class B misdemeanor or above;
- Never been convicted of family or dating violence;
- Never had a dishonorable discharge in the US Military;
- Must be firearm qualified or have the ability to be qualified;
- Valid Driver's License.
Pay commensurate experience.
Full time and part time positions available.
